My name is Natalia, and together with Taisiia Razumna, we are the co-founders and full owners of Nimorix. This blog — and our studio — are our way of showing how design can make life warmer, cozier, and more real. We don’t just talk about interiors. We talk about homes that reflect who you are.

How It All Began

I didn’t start out as a designer. For many years, the space I lived in didn’t feel right for me. The colors were off, the layout was wrong, the whole place felt empty. That’s when it hit me — our home should work for us. It should inspire us, help us recharge. That spark was the beginning.

The first space I ever redesigned was a small apartment of a close friend. No budget, just creativity: paint on the walls, rearranged furniture, more light, a couple of cozy cushions. It wasn’t perfect, but it felt different — warmer, softer, right. And that’s when I realized: this is what I want to do.

Taisiia’s Story

Taisiia Razumna is more than just my partner in this project — she’s an architect, a designer, and a storyteller in her own way. She studied architecture and design in Kyiv, and for more than 10 years she has been creating interiors that combine functionality with warmth. What makes her work unique is her ability to listen — to people, to spaces, to details that others might overlook.

One of her most memorable projects was in Kyiv: a couple bought an old Soviet apartment with tiny rooms and heavy, dark furniture. They wanted something fresh, but were afraid to lose the “spirit” of the home. Taisiia found a way to blend old and new: she kept the vintage wooden wardrobe, restored it, and placed it against a modern pastel wall. The contrast was stunning — and the clients said it felt like “their past and future finally met in one place.”

Another time, she worked with a young IT specialist who lived in a completely empty loft, almost like a storage unit. He didn’t even know where to start. Taisiia designed the space around his lifestyle: minimalistic furniture, acoustic panels for his music, and a hidden working corner with perfect light for coding. The loft became a reflection of him — functional, but with soul.

What drives Taisiia most is the belief that design is not about perfection, but about people. “A home should feel alive,” she says. “Not like a picture from a magazine, but like a place that knows your story.”
